The "T" Family | Chickasha, Oklahoma Family Photographer

This is the unfortunate thing that happens when you try to photograph a 1 year old in 30ish degree weather. I still think she looks completely adorable though, haha.

Before the meltdown we were able to shoot for about an hour and I think we got some amazing shots of this family. It was so wonderful working with them and I hope to do it again in the future when it's a little warmer of course. ;)

So it's official, I'm in LOVE with this session!

Regardless of the fact that it was FREEZING outside and little brother was COMPLETELY against this shoot we got some adorable shots! I knew we would as beautiful as this family is!

I can't wait to photograph them again next year.

I just started working of these images from a family session I had on Sunday...I just couldn't help it but to post this 1 photo! Isn't little she just a doll?!

Prepare for a longer than usual post :)

A little background: I met Summer when I started working for Waste Connections and in the year we've known each other I'd call her one of my best friends.

In January (2011) Summer and I began a complete lifestyle change. We decided that neither one of us felt good in our skin and it was about time to do something about it! I started counting calories and eventually seeing a trainer and Summer decided to try Weight Watchers again. Who knew that she would be so dang successful! Since then she's lost 87 lbs and has met her weight loss goal (just in time for her to get engaged! Congrats again!!!). It's seriously insane.... My measly 34 lbs sounds so bad next to her 87 haha!

I really can't tell you how proud I am of her. She built up so much will power in the process. Summer will definitely be my go to girl when I need to lose the baby weight this spring. :)

Since we did Summer's family photos last December and again this November I decided to put together a little before and after. When I was digging through the photos I was so in aw of how much of a difference 87lbs makes!

Fun Family | Chickasha, Oklahoma Family Photographer

I LOVE this girl!

I finally had the opportunity to shoot Jessica's family again and it was a blast. I was pretty stressed out because we really didn't have the pretty fall colors that we planned for but hey it's Oklahoma what do you expect?!

It's really insane how much her girls have grown! One has become more cooperative and one was a bit less but we still got some super cute shots!

Sisters Anyone?? | Chickasha, Oklahoma Siblings Photographer

When Kirsta contacted me about photographing her and her sisters as a gift to her dad I was stoked; but I really didn't know what I was getting into! We had SO MUCH FUN! I think I've fallen in love with these girls :). You can definitely see the sisterly bond here. It was really a pleasure to shake things up a bit. I look forward to future shoots with this family.

Tim and Laura | Chickasha, Oklahoma Couples Photographer

Recently a good friend of mine contacted me to let me know she and her family would be visiting from Ft. Hood. I was so excited to hear this - the last time I saw Laura and the kiddos was when I photographed her maternity photos! I guess it had been nearly a year?!

They invited me to the family farm in Elgin. It was such a blast! I got to photograph Tim and Laura and some of and with Tim's parents as well.
